Landon Dickerson was called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after a costly Tua Tagovailoa interception in the second quarter of Saturday’s LSU-Alabama game, and he was lucky not to be ejected.
Tagovailoa was intercepted by Patrick Queen late in the second quarter. After being tackled, Dickerson ran up and pushed Kary Vincent from behind:

The play could not have been dirtier.

Vincent actually left with an injury after the play.
Dickerson, a junior offensive lineman, should have been ejected for that cheap shot. It was a dirty blindside hit that has no business in the sport.
